Dale Wolfe


Dale is a multi-award nominated and winning director, producer, and writer. After starting in broadcasting, where he worked in management and on air as a TV anchor and top-rated radio host in Vancouver, he transitioned to film and television through a voiceover and acting career that included principal, recurring and guest starring roles in multiple films and series, which provided the invaluable opportunity to work with (and acutely observe) directors such as Robert Redford, Tim Burton and David Zucker. His first screenplay collaboration earned a Praxis Screenwritng Fellowship, and he has received funding from the Canada Media Fund and Telefilm Canada. As a director, his short films have screened at festivals in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, and Chicago; his first feature, the Mockumentary, HAIR OF THE SASQUATCH, premiered at the Calgary International Film Festival; he wrote, directed and co-produced the Telus Storyhive web pilot, GOING FOR BROKE; and he has directed multiple commercial campaigns for brands such as “Bedgear,” “Sofi, Sofas” and “OK Tire.” He recently produced the feature film WOODLAND which was a multiple award winner and nominee, and is distributed in over 20 countries, including Japan, the UK, Australia/New Zealand, South Korea, and the U.S., where it appears on Amazon Prime, Apple TV and Tubi. He has several film and TV projects in various stages of development and continues to work as a voiceover artist and director.
